Leadership

As I was reading in the Bible this morning, there were several verses that jumped out at me. Here are a few:

Numbers 11:17 I will take of the Spirit that is on you and put the Spirit on them. They will help you carry the burden of the people so that you will not have to carry it alone.

Moses was carrying the burden of the people he was leading and God provided others to help carry the load. In leadership we need to share the load with others. “Lone Ranger” leadership tends to lead to disillusionment and despair.

Numbers 11:23 The LORD answered Moses, "Is the LORD's arm too short? You will now see whether or not what I say will come true for you."

Numbers 13:30 Then Caleb silenced the people before Moses and said, "We should go up and take possession of the land, for we can certainly do it."

When God gives us a vision He will give us all that we need to fulfill that vision. I love Caleb’s faith! When God calls us to accomplish something that is beyond our human ability, do we respond like Caleb?

Hi John. This is an interesting method for sharing thoughts.
