Remember this

Here are some verses that stood out for me as I was reading Deuteronomy 6-10 today. Go ahead, read them and I will let you draw your own conclusions.

6:5 Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.

6:6-9 These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates.

7:9 Know therefore that the LORD your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commands.

8:3 man does not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of the LORD.

9:6 Understand, then, that it is not because of your righteousness that the LORD your God is giving you this good land to possess, for you are a stiff-necked people. 10:16 Circumcise your hearts, therefore, and do not be stiff-necked any longer.
